THE WHY in ALLISON Allison Racing Development has extensive benefits from regular boat production. Extensive lab tests on tensile, and compression ratios are significant. We test hydrodynamics well beyond any bassboat manufacture. We have to know what materials can withstand 200, 2000, even beyond 15000 lbs per square or what alloys absorb, cause or reduce vibration and flex. We need to know what materials are stronger, lighter and more durable over 36 months of pounding and vibration. There are a thousand things Allisons R&D has to consider and yes our boats are more expensive but the cost more and take more time to build. We dont own a chopper gun. We have multiples in resin development. Our boats are some of most durable, best constructed boats in the world. Yes much of what we do is proprietary, not open to the public. We have created significantly heavier test plugs years ago that weigh more that whats on the market now and they have all ran significantly faster. We have something to hide... good reason…. we have been winning races, dominating world records and producing crowned world champions for over a half a century.
