THE WIND PASSES, AND THE FLOWERS ARE CONTENT I have read The Story of My Life, by Helen Keller. It is a difficult book to find, but WOW! It is beyond amazing. I was reading about her again tonight and came across this paragraph. My life has been happy because I have had wonderful friends and plenty of interesting work to do, Helen Keller once wrote, adding, I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times, but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers. The wind passes, and the flowers are content. Puts things in perspective. Not that I have want or need to, but if I were of the persuasion to complain, who would I be to do so after reading those for sentences of wisdom from one who faced obvious and many not so obvious challenges.
