THE WISDOM OF NIGERIAN LEADERS: GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN: 1. “I don’t know where they are… there is no confirmation of the location of the schoolgirls, you are a journalist, you know more than me.” 2. If I exercise 40/50% of my powers, Nigerians would say I am a dictator. Some African leaders who used only 60 were condemned as dictators 3. “I assure you that we will get the girls out but we can only do it with the co-operation of their parents and guardians.” 4. Over 70% of what they call corruption in Nigeria, is mere common theft. The word corruption is being abused, its just mere theft. 5. “Even when I’m in church I am monitoring what is happening. Anytime I get reports of an attack somewhere… my face will change immediately… my expression will change. It used to happen every Sunday. 6. “Anytime I hear of any one Nigerian dies I feel pained… even if it’s a Boko Haram member – I am their president.” 7. “Pakistan terrorists have been fighting terrorism for over 10 years now so it’s not something that a 6-month State of Emergency can solve.” 8. “The Petroleum Minister has appeared before the Parliament for over 200 days… in the Nigerian Parliament you’ll agree with me that there is more politics than work.” 9. “People have been confusing corruption with stealing. If public officers steal money they term it under corruption….” 10. PDP is the champion. We are the ones holding the belt. We are waiting to see the challenger 11. The popular Nollywood wasnt captured in the assessment of the economy as Africas strongest 12. “If Sanusi hadn’t been suspended he would have come up with a different figure… If anyone steals $50 billion or $20 billion anywhere America will know, they will tell you where it is; it is their money.” Rotimi Amaechi: Were all thieves...I wonder why you dont stone us. Rabiu Kwankwaso: Im not a gentleman Rochas Okorocha: You must not allow ono na di acho di (a married woman who sleeps around) to govern or represent you anymore Tinubu: Were not interested in going to court. Well roast riggers. Muhammadu Buhari: Military action against Boko Haram is anti-North. Adams Oshiomhole: Go and die. Sule Lamido: Jonathan is a mad man inside petrol filling station with lighter in his hand. Obasanjo: IBB is a fool at 70. IBB: Obasanjo is a greater fool. You really need to see the leaders of Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Russia and even Malaysia talk and you will see that all these ones we call leaders will not take us anywhere. You see, Nigeria and Nigerians need a new set of leaders, leaders who are in tune with the challenges of the 21st century, leaders who are smart, intelligent and visionary. Leaders who know the problems and even know the solutions better. Leaders who have the will and are interested in legacies and not private jets and mansions. Not leaders who are driven by greed, tribalism, sentiments, corruption and think of nothing but what to eat.
