THE WISDOM TO FORGIVE Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. Colossians 3:13 MSG When people behave badly, it’s hard to forgive them. How hard? Sometimes, it’s very hard! But God tells us that we must forgive other people, even when we would rather not. So, if you are angry with anybody (or if you are upset by something you yourself have done), it’s now time to forgive. God instructs you to treat other people exactly as you wish to be treated. And since you want to be forgiven for the mistakes you make, you must be willing to extend forgiveness to other people for the mistakes that they have made. If you can’t seem to forgive someone then you should keep asking God to help you until you do.
