THE WOMEN EXTRAORDINAIRE FORUM 2013 - first time in Malaysia, 2012 and 2011 was in Hong Kong The Women Extraordinaire Forum is a dynamic rostrum that draws extraordinary women together across Asia and beyond. In this forum, extraordinary women shared their thoughts, ideas, leadership skills and how they succeed. I met and listened to speeches from: Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz (former Minister of International Trade & Industry), YB Dato Sri Hajah Rohani Abdul Karim (Minister, Ministry of Women Family and Community Development), Elsa Pau (Founding Chairperson, The Women Extraordinaire Forum, she was once named by Asia Week as one of Asias Most Influential Women), Datuk Dr Maznah Hamid (the Iron Lady - CEO Securiforce), Ms. Syarifah Maria Alfah (Owner of Fox Hill Langkawi Kampung & Homestay Wellness Resort, HR Expert- she was a senior consultant and executive coach, her last corporate assignment was as a Trainer for IBM Leadership Program, was the VP in Seagate - and she is GREAT!!! Shes my ICON in Human Resource!!) and ramai lagi yang I met. Will upload few pics taken by the organiser nanti..It was a GREAT forum. From the forum, I learned : Women : YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR WORTH, KNOW HOW TO NEGOTIATE (@ workplace), and the most important : as a women, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF!
