THE WOODBURY CONNECTICUT GROUP PAGE is an open group for the community and friends of Woodbury Connecticut. It does not speak for the town of Woodbury. It gives Woodbury residents and friends the opportunity to speak with one another. My intention is to create a warm, inviting forum for people to promote local business and community. I created the group because it is an easier way for people and businesses to post directly on the timeline. WOODBURY CONNECTICUT is the place to share notices for your events including but not limited to: church suppers, concerts, haunted hay rides, duck races, bake sales, tree lightings, country fairs bonfires, community choral groups and drum circles. Feel free to share your videos and snapshots of turkeys crossing the road, carnival in the hollow, tractor parades, cows kissing the baby, extraordinay heirloom tomatos, prize-winning jalapeno jelly, chihuahuas riding on the back of the motorcycles, snowmen, sunsets, cute dogs, conniving cats, and so on. If you have news about school closings, town meetings or where the snow plow has been, share it here. We will post notices about election dates and polling places, but not discuss the candidates. Town officials may also share news as it happens. WOODBURY CONNECTICUT is NOT the place to post about politics (national or local), trash your neighbors, or express your opinion about town employees and volunteers.
