THE WORD OF THE KINGDOM: Consider These Things: Let this mind be in you that was first in > Christ Jesus ... OK, sound good. Lets take a look see > as I am sure we can agree that Jesus said, what was on his mind being only what Father said: I must preach The Kingdom of God for that is why I was sent.... (Hmmmm) OK; one more again: As ye go, preach, saying, Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. ... (Hmmmm); Now dont leave yet. Mat 20:1-2 For The Kingdom of Heaven is like (the subject being discussed is concerning The Kingdom of God) ... For the Kingdom of Heaven is like (as so to compare with the example being given to present how the Kingdom functions; its precepts, and its principles in application) .... For the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is an householder which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day he sent them into his vineyard. (The vineyard is His, not the laborers; the laborers cant claim the vineyard as their own little fiefdom; they working for the Householder, lets not get this twisted). : 3-4 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle (argos < idle > shunning the labor they should be about the business of performing) in the marketplace [Mat 25:14-34] and said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. : 5-7 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, (the Householder was always looking to employ whosoever would work) Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. (God is no respecter of persons, for all are called) : 8-9 So when even was come the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. : 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; (they figured they been in this thing longer than them other guys so we be more worthy - Nope) and they likewise received every man a penny. And when they had received (exactly what the householder had promised them) ... And when they had received it, > they murmured against the goodman of the house, Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us which have borne the burden and heat of the day. (We been sweating in the field for a lot longer than these Johnny-come-lately folk and helped longer than these newbies working in the vineyard; cant nobody tell us we dont deserve more than them late-comers) : 13-15 But {Jesus} answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?” (Guys, whoever, you cant change the rules based on the time youve spent laboring in MY field) Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, (are you bent out of sought having an evil heart) because I am good? (I do good to all, not being a respecter of persons, but I of my own accord pay the wage of him that laboreth in My Vineyard) : 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
