THE WORLD THIS WEEK......!!! ____________________________ Way back in d 80s when NDTV started, there was prog by this name by Pronoy Roy to start with.It wd cover d events of the week gone by all over d world.We wd so eagerly wait for that prog as there was nothing of that sort in those days & then were added to it the swings & all pandemonium of elections & d opinion polls & expert opinions of d political analysts. Today d day started with d news of Ness in a mess.While he behaved like a bad chef who spoils d broth but wont take responsibility out of arrogance & denial.But what about d pretty cat whos swallowed many a rat reporting it to the sacred sanctuary ??? Then u could see d Delhi congress on d roads against shortage of power forgetting till a few months ago, it was ruling there d last 15yrs , demanding results from d Modi govt right from d word go while having ruled d country for 60/66 yrs, it still grants itself unaccountablity, should it not give the new govt@least 6months for a start.While Modi dedicated d new warship Vikramaditya to d country & Jaitly made a state visit to J&K both reiterating Indias capability to thwart any violations along its borders.One wonders while d good business minds that Modi & Nawaz Sharif are & wan2 quickly fix d trade aspect between d 2 countries, who then makes noises@d borders or inside its territories from time to time due to conflicting agendas, remains a big question to be asked from d Big Brothers or Uncle Sams of d international community. While a young techie gets butchered by d fringe pro-Hindutva elements in Pune, it gives an undue vindication to d fears of d community@its receiving end.The TV debates on Road safety tell u that 1.5 million die on roads every yr in India@one every 4minutes, a Dr adds that d 5 million more who suffer serious injuries r not considered in damaging figures at all.Still d lawless driving continues somewhere with d connivance of police & somewhere owise & heroes & sons of d filthy rich keep crushing d innocent pedestrians & footpath sleepers & get away with it but only poor Salaman khan seems to b facing d wrong side of d coin.Also d unfortunate Gopinath Munde my birthday mate suffering in d same cause & effect & I recollect while most sagittarians in film industry like Dilip Kumar, Late Raj kapoor, Dharmendra, Shatrughan etc r good human beings & my other bday mates like Yuvraj & Rajnikant are great too , but only one black sheep in our group who if he surrenders his assets into national treasury, India wont need taxes for a decade.....u guessed it right....Sharad Pawar. While d Damini episode of rapes in Delhi & d agitation that followed was expected to put a curb but the disease seems to be getting malignant & out of hand along with acid attacks & refuses to go.Media gets its breaking news everyday & d insignificant innocents resign to their fates with d statements of leaders like Mulayam & son Akhilesh in U.P who barely missed being dismissed by a hairs breadth...courtesy BJP who dint want to start on a vindictive, dictatorial or selfish note & stand by their word of taking everyone along.Surprising is d fact that lack of toilet facilities is alarmingly & highly responsible for these animal instinct acts & India takes pride shamelessly being d world champion in defecating outside in d open. While life goes on in inertia of all sorts, d congress rout in recent parliamentary elections wakes up our cutie pie....Baby Omar from d non-governance slumber after 5.5 yrs from a 6 yr tenure of his govt(sometimes d governance was reduced to just an occasional tweet) & is trying some quick fixes in desperation, denying in Ostrich fashion, d Writing on d wall & d senior Abdullahs gimmicks look very cheap & ineffective now & d seasonal rats anxious to desert d sinking ships of Cong & NC & looking for greener pastures on PDP & BJP side of d fence ! lol ! While personally I reflect on & feel sad for all this but my heart specially goes out for d 24 engg students who were washed away into carelessness history around d dams & waterbodies.Shame that it needed 24 lives for signboards to b posted & siren system activated & people booked for d callous attitude thats rampant along with corruption in all govt institutions & deptts.The trials of life continue & people continue to question Gods wisdom in all of them I have question here.What do u do in ur office having 15-20 employees? Dont u punish d guilty & reward d good performers & once in a while an innocent person suffers when a blanket decision is taken in d interest of d company. Personal front was gaga whole week while I was granted progressively increasing ebadah climaxing@d 15th night of Shaban & next day was again my erring self..............so nothing is to be taken granted there too.The ups & downs keep coming.Today I started with a class in d morning & have another one in d evening but in d day all my attempts to study for & finish my assignment failed which I realized quickly enough(Probably a divine break which I was refusing to take) & shifted to Laundry & Pantry sides in d backdrop of music which is a rare occurrence & usually with d songs of Safar & Amar Prem but for a change today, I started with Mughl-e-Azam & was wondering whether todays generation will take d depth & laborious deliberations of yester-years movies lyrics , dialogues & impacting direction for today is d era of speed, action & lyrics like DINKA CHIKA & SHIELA MUNNI & what not.OK bye till next time all.I enjoyed my weekend despite call on both days but its been cool....u enjoy yours.God bless & take care till next time.
