THE ZAKIR TOUR--LESSONS FROM THE HITCHES---(22-10-14) LOOKING AT THE BRIGHTER SIDE These back and forth about problems in organization of the zakir naik tour have also brought to light and/or reinforced, a lot of challenges pertaining in our Muslim community COMMUNAL / ATTITUDINAL COMMUNAL -- --In spite of our many scholars &students, We aint doing dawah much-- the non Muslims are too ignorant about islaam.. --We have no proper structure or program to support reverts (some come and go) --We have no proper communal structure / coordination for big event organization ATTITUDINAL-- --When mistakes occur, we overlook the good efforts of people and rush in total condemnation without even offering constructive criticisms or progressive solutions! If all these didnt happen, we would have been still sleeping! Allaahu a‘lam! May this be a serious wake up call for us all!! --WAY FORWARD Lets defend the honor of fellow Muslims, show gratitude and encourage people to get better &correct their mistakes rather than wallow in shallow criticisms& condemn arbitrarily Here I say -- Well done hajia Laura- may Allah reward you &your team abundantly! But theres more room for improvement! Pls Listen & correct the mistakes!! --Lets Cover the faults of others & Allah will cover your faults in dunya & aakhyra... --Yes you can criticise, but do so constructively & then suggest better ways to do things and get involved in the solutions --Lets Ask ourselves! What can I do to spread the dawah? What can I do for the reverts? What can I do to help establish a proper event Organization structure for our community? Etc --Lets make duaa, think and try to be part of the solution all for Allah‘s sake! Your ideas may be the next big thing to happen to GH In_Shaa_Allaah! What a blessing that will be! SO WHAT CAN YOU ALSO OFFER AS A SOLUTION?? REFLECT May Allah make us better people! May He forgive, help, guide and have mercy on us all..till Jannah
