THE road to Paradise is set to change with developments planned - TopicsExpress

THE road to Paradise is set to change with developments planned for the approach to the stadium as the Champions head towards 2014. The Ticket Office has already been relocated in the first phase of the development and the next stage of the project, which begins this Wednesday, November 13, will require the closure of Kerrydale Street. The new Ticket Office is situated behind the Celtic Superstore and both buildings can be accessed from Davaar Street while the main door at Celtic Park can now be approached by car via Janefield Street after turning in from Springfield Road. This phase of the development involves the demolition of the old Ticket Office and London Road Primary School as the entire area in front of the stadium undergoes a complete facelift ahead of, not only the Scottish Cup final at Celtic Park, but also the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on July 23. The first home match when restrictions will be in place is against Aberdeen on November 23. The club apologises for any inconvenience while the work is undertaken. HH/dale
