THEIR BACK! This is one of World of Wines favorite winemaker events of the year! We here at WOW are very fond of Rulo wines and big fans of winemakers Kurt & Vicki Schlicker. Located in Walla Walla, they have been friends and an inspiration to our staff and customers for years. Kurt and Vicki are true entrepreneurs, who have built their winery using their own love, sweat and finances. They are the sole owners and employees, where Kurt is the winemaker and Vicki is the worker bee. They share all other winery tasks equally and the entire day in and day out operations of Rulo winery is dependent on their hard work. At World of Wines we appreciate how important it is for Kurt and Vicki to know their retailers, and we look forward to when they pull up in their Chevy pick-up truck to personally deliver our cases of Rulo wine. Oh, and by the way - their wines are wonderful! Paul Grefutt agrees that Rulo wines are fresh, vivid and stylish, and both white and red are riveting, for their crystal clarity, vivid acidity and immaculate fruit.
