THEIR WAY: This whole week long Ive heard countless ways, On different days To describe my ways... And apparently Im not to appealing, My presence is a settlement kneeling... Im worthless, Im stupid, Attribute this whole divine intervention from cupid... And Im a bad daughter And lazy, I am, This said from the mouth of a dearly loved man... And yet from another One Ive loved and protected, Said Im a bad mom Whos kids are neglected... And I know I disappoint the matriarch of us all, She had so many high hopes But yet all I do is fall... And Im needy and bitter, And I know Im a quiter, Ive found gray hairs, Ive got stretch marks and fat on my waist, And I dont know how to act, and I have no taste... I fold the laundry but dont hang it, And I got dreams but no ambitions, When I play station I always die on all the missions... But I heard the sweetest words from the mouths of babes born of my own hips, You are the best mom, And it unsunk all sinking ships... Your pretty mommy, I wanna be like you, And this handwritten card with tiny scribbles and glue, your cookings the bomb Wow Im so glad your my mom, Your the best reader and your the bestest tucker in, All while blowing kisses glide through the air to grace my skin... And the one who looks just like me wants to be just like me, And when she talks its like words of me, I guess shes super spongy, And she soaked up my manners Along with my love, When I carried her and hugged her and called her morningdove Green eyes that shine with wonder prefect lips always talking Seems like just the other day she wasnt yet walking... She was only a baby And He was only a babe and now theyre both talking and writing their names... Each telling me momma Wow your the greatest, hear it everyday cuz theyre the best piece of me so i tend to see things their way... ADP
