John 17:3 CEV Case study: Man, the living soul- Gen 2:7-25 The existence of man in the beginning as a living soul was indeed a mystery even to the man such that after he lost it,he could not obtain it again though deceived by the serpent. DO YOU KNOW YOURSELF? Gen 2:7 After that you became A LIVING SOUL by being BORN AGAIN, you have become a totally different person. There should therefore be a serious, unquenchable thirst and desire to know who you are NOW THAT YOU ARE SAVED. If you have been used to Teacher-student relationship in secondary school, coming to university, you should seek to know how to operate with your lecturers. You should not submit your book after each lecture for signature in the university as we do in primary schools; Lecturers on normal ground should not ask you to get 2A exercise book for writing except you are in Fine & applied arts. So you need to learn WHO AM I NOW AFTER SALVATION? If you were using a volks wagon MANUAL GEAR before getting an updated volks wagon but AUTOMATIC GEAR. It should be useless though with you until you learn how to drive it else you will crash eventhough you have been driving before now. We have learnt of people that were brilliant in secondary school but became dull in university though schooling is not strange to them. You could have been an EXPERT in existing here on earth before you gave your life to Jesus but now you are a living soul, you need to learn from the LORD WHAT IT REALLY MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN. You are no more who you used to be, you are now A LIVING SOUL. God released HIMSELF INTO you and you became a living soul. Right from that point you are meant to be living extremely different from your previous life though the same body but different occupant. God has occupied your body now and you must be desperate to know the new occupant; GOD, HIS desires and HIS strenght. BEING RELEVANT IN LIFE- Gen 2:15-25 God did not ask the man before becoming A LIVING SOUL to dress & keep the Garden neither did God expose him to naming living creatures nor give him a wife. If you are not born again and give attention to know the LORD, you are not authorised to ACCESS A WIFE nor NAME A CHILD. From where will you say you have the confidence when you have not identified yourself? If you still go ahead getting married and naming Children, you are just like a man that was not admitted to school yet he came for the Convocation ceremony without being certified. God will not certify you at the JUDGEMENT DAY. Are you also like a man though he was admitted but went away only to return on convocation day for certification though he was admmitted, he didnt observe the curriculum and cannot be certified. God also have no record of your life for RAPTURE. (Matthew 25:24-30) If you are never saved, give your life to JESUS today. If you have given your life to Jesus but you have not been accessing your curriculum daily/early; You have not understood who you are as to be useful here on earth; You also need to REPENT of such CARELESS lifestyle. How will you be living without knowing who you are? Living as a devil though God resides in you? YOU NEED TO REPENT OF SUCH CARELESS LIVING. Food for thought: It is seeking God & knowing HIM that you know yourself since you are HIS image. Objects in mirror are not the best to study but the REAL. God is the REAL, you are HIS IMAGE: SEEK HIM to KNOW who you are. We have to pray GOD, please arrange ENCOUNTER for me to SEEK YOU like YOU did for PAUL, JACOB at least JACOB needed to learn how to walk with the touched hollow of his thigh.
