THEN PETER SAID, SILVER AND GOLD HAVE I NONE; BUT SUCH AS I HAVE GIVE I THEE: IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH RISE UP AND WALK... AND WHEN PETER SAW IT, HE ANSWERED UNTO THE PEOPLE, YE MEN OF ISRAEL, WHY MARVEL YE AT THIS? OR WHY LOOK YE SO EARNESTLY ON US, AS THOUGH BY OUR OWN POWER OR HOLINESS WE HAD MADE THIS MAN TO WALK? THE GOD OF ABRAHAM AND OF ISAAC AND OF JACOB, THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS, HATH GLORIFIED HIS SON JESUS... AND HIS NAME THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME HATH MADE THIS MAN STRONG... (Acts 3:6, 12 - 13a, 16a) Most of todays so called great men of God dont have to say, SILVER AND GOLD HAVE I NONE because they are rich or very wealthy! but neither can they say, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH RISE UP AND WALK! I wonder do they think the trade was worth it? Peter was quick not to take the credit for Gods work! He made all present aware that it was faith in the name JESUS that healed the man! I dont care how good or holy or righteous you think you are, all of your power flows through the name of JESUS! For without HIM you can do nothing! Be blessed!
