Why? We inherited the adverse effect of colonialism. We see lack of basic infrastructures as a way of life. Africans easily settle for less, so they easily conclude that they are second class or third class citizens. The black man has a link to abject poverty. Every Black man you see on the road now has a link to poverty, if not in this generation but two generations ago. The mindset of the black race had been conditioned to make it in life through luck... but I came to tell the believer who is reading this that you are not like them. You have the nature of Christ. Poor self- image will make you to live and operate in fear instead of faith. Your statements will be filled with fear. “they said they are like grasshoppers in their sight” Stop looking at what is wrong with you, rather look at what is right with Jesus... 2Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. “He took your wrongness and gave you his righteousness. Halleluyah!!! Focus on this. There is nothing wrong with u. Gen 1:31 MSG and AMP... you are fearfully and wonderfully made... you are beautiful, you are handsome, let no one talk you down. Be proud of who you are, walk gallantly. If you think that something is wrong with you, it will make you feel that the rest of the people also think that something is wrong with you. All the areas that is out of order in your life can be fixed by our Lord Jesus Christ...Dont settle for bondage... be determined to be free 3. Start loving God. Develop a powerful love relationship with God. It drives away fear. 1 John 4:17-18 MSG, Many of us love our husband, wife, children, work, business even our churches more than God... start loving God Galatians 5:6 “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. “you cant have faith if you dont love God, when you love God you begin to love yourself and others 1 John 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us. “His love will change you…” The way you live, the way you talk, your association, your dressing, your finance, Meditate on his love.
