To know your place is to know where you belong, to know where you belong starts with knowing who you are. I may not have gotten there, I might still be on my way, no problem that is what we call the process to the promise. I might still be going through all sorts but my destination is my focus the prodigal soon found himself among pigs, somehow he rejected that placement that foolishness and dryness kept him in reject any placement that does not resemble you, your true identity is king and priest. A king enjoys abundance, a priest declares and God sanctions, stop talking nonsense. Jesus passed through the cross, grare and hell but only passed through. He knows his place was on the throne by the right hand of God. David went through stuff, he was left in the bush to take care of animals. They must have called him names seeing he was the son of an harlot, but you know David as the king of Israel. Jesus never stopped calling himself the son of David. Where have you found yourself today, where have men placed you? It may be in the pit or prison but here what God is saying, you are sited with Christ in heavenly places. The heavenly place is not like this earthly place. It’s a place of greatness, a place where all things are under your feet and everything you need is made available. My place is with Christ.
