THEOPNEUSTOS “GOD BREATHED” TUESDAY, JULY 15TH 2014 TITLE: THE MAKING OF A STRONG FAMILY (1) MESSAGE BY PASTOR CHARLES 1 TIMOTHY 5:8. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. The family is not man’s idea but God’s idea. Every one that forms a part of the family is very important to the health of any family. First God made the man, talking about the husband. Then he brought the woman to the man, talking about the wife. They both become husband and wife which gives them a legal right to bring forth children together. The man, the woman and the children become a family. But not all families are strong and until a family is strong anything can pull down its walls. Weak families do not stand the test of time. The weakness or strength of a family starts with the man, the woman too, before talking about the children. Every man, husband or call him father must not cease or fail to take his rightful place in the home. A man must institute God’s word in the foundation of his home, starting with his wife. Adam failed in this area. Some wives come with strange ideas from their father’s house. The man must insist on only God’s idea. Love your wife as Jesus loves the church, that means you must seek her comfort at all times not your selfish comfort. Teach your wife the word of God and any other thing she ought to know and teach your children as well. Don’t spare the rod and don’t also abuse or neglect your children. Create a balance. PRAYER AND DECLARATION MY FAMILY IS STRONG IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS. WE CANNOT BE SHAKEN BECAUSE ON GOD’S WORD WE STAND.
