THERE IS A NEED! I MUST GO! One night I sensed a strong inner urge that I needed to go and make a visit to a certain house. I did not know anyone who lived in the house, but I obeyed the urge that I needed to go, I drove to the location, got out of my car, walked up to the door, knocked and a young woman opened the door; I introduced myself, she said, Wait, I will go tell my husband you are here. I waited a few seconds, she returned and said to me, My husband said, he was tired, needed to take a bath and rest. Could I please come back at another time. I agreed and left. Did I make a mistake by following my inner urge that I must go visit this home and family? No! Here is why, the next day on the front page of the local newspaper there was an article about a young man who was buried alive on a construction site and died. The young man lived at the location and in the house I had visited the night before the accident. There was no doubt in my mind and heart that the Lord had sent me to make the visit, because the He knew what would occur the next day. What would have happened if the young man did not have his wife say to me tell him I am tired, need to take a bath and rest? I do not know. Did the young man know the Lord, I do not know, because I did not have an opportunity to ask him. If not, in the judgment day the Lord could say to him, I sent someone to visit and to speak with you about me the night before you died. What did you do? You send him away. No one will ever stand before the Lord and give Him an excuse as to why they arent saved and going to enter into heaven. He will allow them to see the numerous times and perhaps places He had spoken to or tried to speak to them. When I read the article in the newspaper I was grieved, but understood why I sensed (I must go) make the visit. All believers should never resist, push aside, nor neglect the urges, need or sense they should do something, say something or go see someone. To try and understand the reasons first is to miss the Lords leading and someone from being helped by the Lord. Remember Christ said He must needs go through the Samaritans location. (forbidden at that time) Why? Because of a woman He would meet at the well that was in of need Him.
