THERE IS A NOISE IN THE VALLEY The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. Ezekiel 37:1-14 (KJV) Israel was a nation well acquainted with the supernatural power of God. . . Even though they were suffering under the control and bondage of Egypt– God miraculously delivered them demonstrating many signs, wonders, and miracles. . . The entire nation of Israel was shaken to its very foundation by the supernatural power of God. . . As Israel stood at the Red Sea fearful of being destroyed by the Egyptian Army – God spoke to Moses telling him to do two important things. . . 1. Speak to the people and instruct them to look back at the Egyptian army – and know that they would never see them again. . . 2. To faithfully trust Him by lifting the rod he had – and at that point experience the salvation/deliverance of the Lord. . . TRUSTING GOD BRINGS DELIVERANCE. . . These things happened – but in the Book of Ezekiel these were things that happened “BACK THEN”. . . A LOT OF WHAT WE TALK ABOUT TODAY – IS WHAT HAPPENED “BACK THEN”. . . WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW IS THE GOD OF “BACK THEN” – IS THE SAME GOD OF “RIGHT NOW”. . . GOD DOESN’T CHANGE – HE IS IMMUTABLE – HE DOESN’T HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE. . . HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY – TODAY – AND FOREVER MORE. . . As Ezekiel walks through the “Valley of Dry Bones” – God is saying “these dry bones are the house of Israel. . . A people whose hope is gone – a people who are spiritually dead and in their graves”. . . ISRAEL HAD LOST THE SUPERNATURAL POWER – AND WAS DOWN IN THE VALLEY OF DEFEAT AND DESPAIR. . God question Ezekiel asking him “can these bones live?” – Is there any hope for these people – is it all over – is there any life left? - - Ezekiel’s replies “Lord, Thou knowest”. . Ezekiel answers God’s question as best he can – and then God commands Ezekiel to PROPHESY. . . PROPHESY – at this point means to speak by inspiration – in other words, God tells Ezekiel just SAY WHAT I SAY. . . THERE IS POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD. . . WHEN WE AGREE WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND SPEAK WHAT GOD SPEAKS – WE GIVE THE WORD OF GOD THE AUTHORITY TO PERFORM IN OUR LIVES. . . There is no doubt that there is power in the Word of God – but until you come into agreement with it – and speak it – it doesn’t have the authority to perform or function in your life. . . The Bible is filled with powerful words – words that have power and ability to change our lives – however, THAT POWER IS DORMANT UNTIL WE AGREE WITH THEM - AND SPEAK THEM. . . IF IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN – WE’VE GOT TO SPEAK IT. . . “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and DOES NOT DOUBT in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, HE WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS. . .” Mark 11:23 (NKJV) It will never happen until you speak it. . . It will never happen until you say it. . . IF YOU BELIEVE IT – then say it! God instructs Ezekiel to PROPHESY – in other words, TRUST ME – AND SAY WHAT I SAY. . . DO YOU TRUST GOD ENOUGH TO SAY WHAT HE SAYS? - TO SAY WHAT HE SAYS IN SPITE OF HOW THINGS LOOK. . .IN SPITE OF HOW YOU FEEL. . IN SPITE OF WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING? Ezekiel speaks the words that God spoke – and there IS A NOISE IN THE VALLEY. . . There was an absences of the miracle working power of God among His people – BUT NOW THE LORD IS AGAIN MOVING UPON HIS PEOPLE – GIVING THEM LIFE. . . GOD MOVES UPON THESE BONES AND THEY STAND UP – A MIGHTY ARMY READY TO DO THE WILL OF ALMIGHTY GOD. . . WHERE IS THAT SUPER-NATURAL, MIRACULOUS POWER OF GOD TODAY. . . THE CHURCH HAD POWER. . . THROUGH THE MIGHTY POWER AND GIFTS OF THE HOLY GHOST – CAPTIVES WERE DELIVERED. . . THROUGH THE POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS – DEMONS WERE CAST OUT – AND THE DISEASED WERE HEALED. The Church had its great day – but then it laid its head in the lap of the world – and the doctrines of men. . . The Church listened to the lies of men – and has been put to sleep by the falsehoods which claim THAT THE DAYS OF MIRACLES HAVE PASSED. . . HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS – DESPERATION HAS GRIPPED THE HEARTS OF A PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CONTENT WITH THINGS BEING THE WAY THEY ARE – BUT ARE DETERMINED TO HAVE WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED. . . PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SEE THE CHURCH AS IT WAS BEFORE. . . THE END OF ALL THINGS HAS COME UPON OUR GENERATION. . The Church is seeking to shake itself and get back into the supernatural power of God. . . We are living in the time when the Church needs the supernatural power of God more than any time in its history – AND IT’S TIME WE RISE UP AND TAKE THIS WORLD FOR JESUS. . . IN THE VALLEY OF DRY BONES – SOMETHING IS HAPPENING. . . Just as God moved in Ezekiel’s day – GOD IS MOVING TODAY. . . God was not content to leave Israel in the grave – so He sent a man to stand in the valley and prophesy until there came a noise – and a great shaking in that valley. . . Once again God has come to His people and there is a strange but wonderful move taking place all across the land. . . A noise of chains falling off - as thousands are being set free from the power of sin. . . THERE IS A NOISE IN THE VALLEY. . . THERE IS A NOISE THAT IS GETTING THE ATTENTION OF PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. . .THERE IS A NOISE OF PRAISE THAT GIVES EVIDENCE THAT GOD’S PRESENCE AND POWER HAS COME BACK TO HIS PEOPLE. . . As in the days of Moses, God is saying, “I have seen the afflictions of My people – I have heard their cries – I know their sorrow – AND I HAVE COME TO DELIVER THEM”. . . God’s promise is “When the enemy comes in as a flood – the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him”. . . This promise is being fulfilled today. . . God declared in book of Joel - And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker-worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you. . . And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, AND SHALL PRAISE THE NAME OF JEHOVAH YOUR GOD, that hath dealt wondrously with you; AND MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME. . . And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else; AND MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME. . . THIS IS THE DAY OF GOD’S GREAT RESTORATION. . . GOD HAS SPOKEN – HE IS READY AND WILLING TO SAVE, DELIVER, SET-FREE AND HEAL – ARE YOU READY?
