One of the first songs written for The American Rights, It was written in a Waffle House around 2 or 3 am, titled by a veteran, written about veterans and their country, for and with veterans for the price they have paid to keep our Country, the USA, a free country where we have a Constitution, Rights and the Freedom to choose...at least for now. This album was sincerely written, with honesty, truth and honor for the Red, White and Blue flying high. This album was the reason I crossed this country using the songs of Crossroad to make sure this album saw the light of day. Many things had to come together simultaneously for this to happen, Dolly Partons, 2nd cousin, a gold dealer out of Ashland, VA, accomplished for me finacially, to see the master of it put in my hand, bought, sold and paid in full, with Jamie Townsend, the recording engineer, waiting in the wings to do the right thing also. God bless you all, for what you did, for a veteran, trying to cross this country on foot and by bus and any means necessary to keep a promise to a fellow vet. It changed my life, gave me a life, a reason, a purpose and these people just simply gave and did what they did by doing what they do. I am forever beholden, and although I didnt fill in all the blanks to keep the story from getting too long, you may see all the story in a book that will be published and realeased pretty soon title MY AMERICAN RIGHTS: ACROSS MY COUNTRY ....I would have never made it or got it done, even with all my efforts, determination, pervsevance, persistence, God bless you and thank you for a mission accomplished and a promise fulfilled. You might also note I have not been able to circle back to reconnect with the ones who made this happen and saw it begun, completed and done. Life continues me onward, through more and more doors, Their voice tells me the same resounding message as of our country does..... ONWARD!!!
