THESE FREEZING DAYS In Sheikh Zayed, it is even chillier than the rest of Cairo. The bitter cold is not exactly depressing. Rather, MELANCHOLIC. Associated with sober thoughtfulness; pensiveness. Not really wanting to go out, but also not wanting to stay indoors, I bundled up, took a chair outside the main door (the most sheltered part of the house) with the wind blowing all around.
