THESE LITTLE ONES HAVE UNTIL TUESDAY!!! Im stepping out on a limb here, to try and better describe this ladys situation with her 2 little dogs, that are being evicted, without legally getting into a problem.... There are 2 other threads about this situation....If you havent seen them, go back and read them first...It will make more sense... The dogs are: 6 yr old Chihuahua named BOSS & A 10 yr. old Dachshund named BUBBA... Our volunteer has exhausted all of our ideas/choices....None have worked out for this particular situation, but we need to get her little ones to a safe haven.....Its what this momma wants!!! She understands the situation....Very Clearly!!! This woman lives in a duplex that is owned by & family related...She depends on these relatives for her existence...She DOES NOT want to jeopardize this arrangement..... We have thought of everything to remedy the situation...A doggy door, a small fenced in area, cleaning the carpets, trying to raise funds to replace carpets, etc....She DOES NOT want to go that route!!! Her physical condition plays a huge part in this....She told us that none of the other will work! She is no longer able !!! This woman has been trying to get help for her two dogs for many, many weeks now....Shes called a list of people....ALL she needs is someone to take her 2 little ones & promise they will not be put to sleep!!! She says the DOXIE is miserable & she knows it...She does not want to see him suffer any longer!!!! He needs medical attention very soon! We are also trying to raise money for both of their medical needs.... Our volunteer has gone above and beyond trying to figure this out!! We also, have gone the extra mile trying to find a way for her to keep the dogs, herself!! Again, she does not want that!!! We at HAART need more than a few days, to come up with a legitimate plan....With rash decisions come mistakes!! WE only want what is best for these dogs....Thats what this momma has begged us to do!!!Trying to remedy the whole picture is out of our control.... We desperately need a foster home or forever home for them by Tuesday....The momma wants them to stay through Tuesday so that her caretaker can say Goodbye.....(That statement was the end of me; Ive cried ever since!!!!) There were many tears shed today as Diane went by to visit again & YES, took another roast beef sandwich for the puppies....Thank you Diane, thats the only thing that made me smile!!! :) If you are willing to open up your home to give these 2 safe haven, please call our office and leave a message at 918-652-9904....We WILL call you back! We just need a little more time for a plan to help these guys & their momma....We do not want them to be dumped at the city shelter or pound....Thats what will happen....To make matters worse, this isnt even in Henryetta, but we are this womans only hope.....
