THEY JUST NEED TO HEAR U SAY A KIND WORD TO THEM……. Helen Mosla was a young teacher….she loved her students and was always wanting to look for ways to build them up One day she got her students to submit a piece of notepaper with each person’s name on it and pass it to the next student…..each student was to write what he thinks about the other person…what the other did that they found great and nice.. …..and when they got their papers back everybody was thrilled knowing what the next person thinks about him….One of the little boy was in tears and Miss Helen noticed him…. Mark was enthralled by the nice words of his friends…. Of the nice things they said about him…and of the nice things they loved about him…. Mark was a quiet and easy going kid at school….he loved to mix around with the other kids and to do what he loved doing and most of all he loved his teachers And years after, Miss Helen Mosla came back to the city and was receivdd from the airport by her parents….and on the way home she asked about her former students and particularly about Mark .. And her father said “Mark just died in Vietnam”… ….she was devastated by the news of Mark’s death and decided to go and see his parents And when she introduced herself as Mark’s teacher…..Mark’s mother smiled and said “Oh you are Miss Helen? Mark has always been talking about you” she then pulled her hands “come and follow me” She followed her to where the woman opened a drawer and brought out a small billfold…she then carefully removed two worn pieces of note book paper that had been taped, folded and refolded many times Miss Helen knew without looking that it was the papers that was listed all the good things each of Mark’s classmates had said about him “thank you for doing that” Mark’s mother said “when his body was found, this was taped to his inner breast pocket, he carried it everywhere he went..you can see how he treasured it” Mark had treasured those few words from his friends above all that he had and had kept it close to his heart for years …it was what had kept him happy when he was at the battlefield, it was what had kept him trying to do his best always wherever he found himself……because he was encouraged by the nice things that the other student thought of him when he was a little boy When the body of President was recovered after he was shot, it was find in one of his pockets neatly folded a newspaper clip of an article written by a reporter with the headings LINCOLN ONE OF THE GREATEST STATEMEN Lincoln had greatly cherished that piece of compliment No matter wat great possession life has given us, no matter where we ave reached in life….no matter wat else we ave achieved …we will always remain a hungry people… .we are people always hungry for a nice word, hungry for a kind word, hungry for a caring word and hungry for the nice tins we can hear about us…. our hearts will always be hungry and encouragement is the meal we always need to feed our hearts…encouragement from those we love……kind words from those we respect people have done what they thought was impossible …..had face adversities that they thought was too great to overcome…and because someone encouraged them…… And many had seen their lives wasted…had built a losing spirit that held them down in life because they held on to a negative word that someone said to them that makes them develop a low esteem of themselves…. May be there is something u said to that little child that has sunk so deep into him and is wat is makin him to do so well in that school… ..or maybe there is something u said that has stuck like a dagger in his heart and is makin him develop a low self image of himself and makin him to fail…. A test was conducted to discover how long a person can endure the pains of standing on cold freezing stones.. And a group of people were chosen to be tested… ..And it was realized with each person that they couldnt last too long… ...but whenever someone was nearby and givin words of encouragement, speaking the right words, urging and accommodating them, each person always last twice the time he did when he was alone It was then realized that humans have it in them to endure more than they think they can… and to accomplish more than they can ever imagined,…. and to achieve far more than they think they could…..when they get the right encouragement Most people in difficult situation don’t need anymore assistance from u than what they have in them to achieve great success…all they need is a word of encouragement, all they need is wat u can give out freely…all they need is wat will cost u notin. .and all they need to overcome big challenges is wat u can give that looks so small A kind word, a nice compliment given is kept always near to the heart of the receiver…….
