THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TAGGING IN FACEBOOK: When you tag someone, you create a link to their profile. The post you tag the person in may also be added to that persons Time line. For example, you can tag a photo to show whos in the photo or post a stauts update and say who youre with. If you tag a friend in your status update anyone who sees that update can click on your friends name and go to their profile. Your status update may also show up on that friends time line depending on his/her privacy settings. When you tag someone, theyll be notified. Also if you or a friend tags someone in your post, the post could be visible to the audience you selected plus their friends of the tagged person. This means who has access to the photo can see who you are and learn more about you via your profile.
