METALLOYS – MEYERTON, VAAL TRIANGLE, GAUTENG Ensuring compliance with BHP Billiton’s commitment to Zero Harm, you will be part of a high performance team where teamwork and a strong drive for safety awareness will be necessary to be successful in this position. You will be responsible for the day to day running of two XRF spectrometers and three LECO analysers. Your duties will include installation of new programs and maintenance and calibration of existing programs. You will also be responsible for the LIMS administrator function and will supervise eight XRF operators. An Analytical Chemistry Diploma (T4/B Tech) or equivalent would be advantageous. You must have knowledge of sampling techniques, testing and analysis methods in a heavy industrialized laboratory environment and worked in a supervisory position. Knowledge of GSAP, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 18000, ISO 17025, XRF, LIMS and computer literate would be to your advantage.
