THINK LIKE A PRO TUESDAY: Your thought process is very important! Some players & coaches like to concede talent solely based on a conference, name, or a school. For instance, when I was in college some players would make a team be good/great solely based on what conference they were in...PAC 10 (Oregon)...BIG XII (Colorado). I always started my assessment after I was able to go toe to toe! My thought process was the same as it was when I arrived on campus without a scholarship. I didnt care if another player was on scholarship or not! Having a scholarship wasnt going to help any player block me. This was my mindset for opponents, I dont give a damn what conference youre from, Im going to whoop yo ass today! Youre not playing against a conference, youre playing against other players like you! (If you dont think youre like them youve already lost) Just because you dont get a scholarship offer from a Big Conference doesnt always mean you dont have Big Conference game! Remember, theres other humans in charge of acquiring & evaluating talent......and a lot of them have no clue what they are doing! Whats your thought process?
