THINKABOUTIT – XXXXVII [1 Cor 1:12-14] Why the Epistles? If Jesus had only come to save us so all this would be about is we would miss Hell and go to Heaven; and that grace is what we are to receive through faith so being all there is to this all; and thus when we sin just get back up again, and again and again, because we know we gonna fall; and there is nothing more for us to do but love Jesus, hope to the end, and believe for the blessings and promises promised void of changing our mind, our character and attitudes [Eph 4:17-27], and how we think [Rom 16:17-18], and it’s all good; and when we all (regardless) get to Heaven, we’ll shout the victory > Then why the Epistles? The Letters, the Epistles were written to the Church (we individually being the Church and so being the corporate Body, the Church), … the Epistles written by men inspired of God being of no private interpretation so to transmit to the hearing heart of whosoever will hear, hear the original intent, divine order of things, and the King’s government’s [Isa 9:6-7] governance in principles and precepts regarding the things God wants us to know. 1 Cor 1:12-14 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God “that we might know” the things that are - freely given > to us of God. Which (these things having been freely given to us of God to come to know) …. Which things also we speak not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth (nope), but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can (the natural man) know (the spiritual things of the Spirit of God) because they are spiritually discerned. The Epistles were written to the churches, for guidance, reproof, encouragement, correction, so being the truth of the wisdom and knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord, in the manner of relationship and life to live out for the citizens of the Kingdom of God who believe on Jesus Christ so to come to know, function in, in that we all be fitly-joined together in love [Eph 4:11-16] being the divine order of all things we being new creatures in Christ Jesus, edifying one another in love by the commandments from Father that Jesus preached so we live in him on his terms and in relation to one another. Now the order of things get out of order when men determine to order things - according to their opinions about the message Jesus preached rather than what Jesus said (that Father said), so we come to know that which God gave us the Epistle to learn concerning God’s Kingdom eternal, right now present, yet still to come: The King, The Kingdom and His Royal Family. In other words, if we haven’t come to know the life and ministry of Jesus Christ He having come preaching [Mat 9:35] the good-news that the Kingdom of God, the reign of God as articulated by Jesus very own words (and not a theology class intent on teaching its own doctrine), then we’ll miss the original intent of God for us, that the apostles knew and preached [Acts 28:30-31] and Philip the Evangelist knew [Acts 8:4-13], and Jesus having been resurrected from the dead continued to preach [Acts 1:1-3], we’ll miss the gospel of the Kingdom of God Jesus came preaching [Luk 4:43] He being sent by Father to preach [Mat 4:23] after John was put in prison [Mar 1:14-15] thereafter since Jesus was now sent to preach [Luk 16:16]. In short, we Repent, but can miss (in the undertow of religion) the reason, the causative, the divine truth of what our repentance is all about – Repent: FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND. So, how do we correct this? “But seek ye first The Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” [Mat 6:33] Begin afresh, we humbling our heart as a little child for of such is the Kingdom of God, and read again and again and again, the life and ministry of Jesus Christ [Luk 8:1] – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, for therein is the revelation of the Kingdom of God Jesus preached and sent us [Mat 10:7-8] to go into all the world preaching “all things” [Mat 28:18-20] whatsoever He commanded, and then comes the end [Mat 24:14] THINK ABOUT IT .
