THIRTY ONE DAYS OF COMFORT FROM GOD Blessed be GOD, even the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the FATHER OF MERCIES, and the GOD OF ALL COMFORT; WHO Comforteth us in all our tribulation that we May Be Able to COMFORT them which are in any trouble, by the Comfort wherewith we ourselves are COMFORTED OF GOD. II CORINTHIANS 1:3-4 We all go through periods when we need COMFORT. There are people who have the Gift of Comfort and Mercy. If you do not know how to Comfort people and be Merciful, ask the Heavenly FATHER and HE will enable you. And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a Son. And he called his name Noah, saying. This same shall Comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath Cursed. GENESIS 5:28-29 There are many people who name their Children with names concerning circumstances during their birth, or around the time of their birth, or give them a Special Blessing through their Name. We are not told the reason that this Child, Noah, would cause his Father and his people to put so much hope in his birth. But we know from this verse, something was unusual about him and his birth. After the Sin of Adam and Eve, the LORD GOD Cursed the ground where they would live. The whole earth was cursed for Their Sin. The lineage of Noah was considered the godly lineage, through Seth, so more than likely some of these grandparents of Noah had been given a Word of Encouragement and Comfort from the LORD. They were given Hope that through Noah something from the LORD would happen. Look with me at the Names of Ten Generations, including Noah. From GENESIS 5:3-29 NAME MEANING ADAM MAN SETH Appointed ENOS MORTAL CAINAN SORROW MAHALALEEL THE BLESSED GOD JARED COME DOWN ENOCH TEACHER/TEACHING METHESULAH HIS DEATH WILL BRING LAMECH DESPAIR/DESPAIRING NOAH REST When these Names are written out, we read the following. This sentence concerns the Eternal Hope and Comfort of the Coming SAVIOUR of mankind. Man is Appointed Mortal Sorrow, The Blessed GOD shall Come Down Teaching: HIS Death Will Bring the Despairing Rest. During the time of Jared, according to the history of this time, the world became very evil. According to the WORD of GOD, when Methesulah died, then the Flood would come. After, Methesulah helped Noah preach and build the Ark, he died and after the Grieving period; the doors were shut to the Ark, and the floods came. Can you imagine the COMFORT Noah needed during the years of preaching and building the ARK and then seeing the tremendous destruction of so many people? We have nothing to compare with that; But we all go through periods of despair and need a Word of COMFORT. Give someone a Word of Comfort today. FATHER, Our Blessed LORD, Thank YOU for Comforting us in our times of Sorrow. Thank YOU for the Hope that is IN YOU, THROUGH YESHUA/JESUS CHRIST, YOUR ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.
