THIS BUGS ME FOR MANY REASONS. 1). This case is from 1944.... Dont you think the Courts time (and Money) will be better spent dealing with CURRENT cases? 2). A judge overturned the Case. HOW do you overturn an EXECUTION? 3). The Judge that Overturned the Conviction did so, NOT because of the facts of the case (the Evidence has long since been gone), or the Courts Transcripts (which there was very little of). She Overturned it on based HER INTERPRETATION of the events of that day.... WAIT.... A judge that BYPASSED Judicial Protocol based on FEELINGS, and not the Facts presented? This sounds like what Obamas doing in the White House! This was a TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE, to be sure. But does bringing it back up CHANGE anything? The Little Girls never saw justice done, and an innocent Black teen was railroaded to the Electric chair by a Jury made up of White men that are long since Dead. Whats done was done, and it happened in another lifetime and when there was NO Racial Equality, which we have today, and bringing this up merely gives adds ONE MORE EXCUSE for Anger and Racial separation. While I feel Sorry for the Young man and his family, justice wasnt done back then, So justice was Denied. and overturning a verdict at this late date doesnt change a thing.
