THIS DATE IN MUNICIPAL STADIUM HISTORY NOVEMBER 21 1971--The Denver Broncos paid their final visit to 22nd & Brooklyn and the usual result ensued, a 28-10 win by the Chiefs, who were a perfect 9-0-0 vs. the Donkeys at Municipal Stadium, all-time in the regular season. Len Dawson threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns as KC won for the 7th-striaght time at home and Jim Otis scored his second and final TD as a Chief. Jerry Simmons led Denver in receiving with 153 yards, but QB Steve Ramsey threw three picks on the day, and Chiefs rookie David Hadley had one of them--his only NFL career INT--and Emmitt Thomas had the other two. A--49,945.
