THIS EVENING I AM PRAYING FOR ALL THE LONELY PEOPLE. The ones who live alone. Those who have been rejected by their families. Those who have no spouse. Those people who have neighbors who never say hello to them. Those people who are sick with terrible illnesses, some of them terminal, who must face this alone. All the people who have been rejected and forgotten. Many of them in nursing homes who never get visitors. And the people who live in despair. They are everywhere. We pass them in the stores and in the Malls. They wont show what they are feeling, as they cant stand any more rejection. Their hearts are breaking and they have no one to talk to about it. Lord Jesus, I pray for all these people. This time of year is especially hard for them. Their mail boxes are continually empty. No one rings their door bell. I pray for them Lord. If I can be a friend to any of them, make it happen today. I dont know who they are, but you do, Lord. Help me meet some of them in the next few days. I pray for them Lord. Help them, heal them, strengthen them. Let us meet up and get to know each other. It doesnt matter Lord, who they may be. Old, young, man or woman, any race, let me be the one to say hello, can I help you lift that package, can I help you load your car, would you like to have coffee with me? That sort of thing Lord. Let me, I pray Lord, be a bright light in their dark day. I will tell them what lovely pictures when they show me photos of their grand children. Let me be a good listener. Lord I pray for them. Send me along their way. I give you thanks Lord. I pray Lord you would bless them greatly.
