THIS FLEETING LIFE by bishara malena this fleeting life....this fleeting life- a paceless journey- through love... through spite- yet and still we give chase- and as we chase... at our frantic pace- we forget that...... this life.......- is a winless race- but indeed- this fleeting life always wins- it seems- juggling our deepest wishes- on the tight rope of our dreams- thus... it is on that very rope that one day we shall cling- caught up in the trappings- of what were told this life means- if were smart...- wed label it a journeymans task- running a winless race- trying not to come in last- if were lucky well find someone to take this journey with us- and unbeknownst to them- learn lessons they teach us- they may not know their worth- never knowing they reached us- never knowing theyre the embodyment- of the soul weve dreampt would seek us- never knowing that theyve reached the unreachable- breached the walls of a fortress- once deemed unbreachable- but this life is so fleeting....- a cause thats surely lost- some say its but a dream- reality...too big a cost- and as each day passes- and for every heart break- we must see them as special steps- in the journey called life we must take- and for those whove hurt your heart- and proven to be untrue- fault them not- for they are on their own journey- stumbling over pebbles...- yes... the same as we do- but this life is soo fleeting- not meant to be lived alone- and broken hearts cant fix themselves- they dont mend well on their own- but this life is soo fleeting......... so fleeting this fleeting life....this fleeting life (THIS FLEETING LIFE) by bishara malena
