Join one of the Museum team at 1pm to learn more about the range of knitting skills and techniques on display in our fantastic KNITWEAR: Chanel to Westwood exhibition. Decade by decade, discover how the craft of knitting has been influenced by developments in fashion, society and technology; whilst the basic elements of needle and yarn have remained consistent throughout the 150 years of knitwear on display, this tour highlights the similarities, differences and the variety of styles produced between hand, domestic machine and industrial knitting.
