THIS HAPPEN TO ME TODAY!!! Today while cashing out at Walgreens, I looked behind the counter and saw the many cigarettes and I made a comment to the cashier how this is the first time in a long time I noticed the cigarettes since I no longer smoked. She said oh how did you stop “cold turkey” or what? I looked at her and said GOD! She just stared at me, I then ask if she was a Christian and she said no. I ask her if she believed in a higher power, she said not really since she could not buy into the entire thing but respected others if they did. However, she said she was brought up as a Catholic but has since declined their teachings. I said is it because you cannot see God? She said that could be it. I ask her could she see the wind (air)? And she said she could feel the wind since it moves things. I said to her if she walked out and got into her car and saw she was about to have a terrible accident would she call out to God or who would she call out to? I explained to her my faith is stronger than what I can see with my eyes, however, my eyes has seen God’s work in me, for me, and through me and I know he’s real. What’s interesting is I decided at the last minute to run into Walgreens because I was going to do a U turn and go to Target since the item I wanted to buy was cheaper there. There was a reason I met this young lady; it could have been more for me than for her to reinforce my faith in the Lord. I am not one to preach but I have many testimonies that I could share but instead I reminisce to myself and just say thank you. Or God may have sent me there to speak to this young lady using a nasty cigarette to provide the opportunity to glorify his name! Amen!
