To prevent ANY misunderstanding... I DEFEND ORGANIC TOXIC-FREE FOOD and as such, I study these label things. Like USDA Organic, 100% USDA Organic (different for the other one) and Non-GMO Project Verification. In contrast to many people I actually study the standards in some detail. Some time ago i have hit the Non-GMO Verification standard and I am working my butt off (I hope that that is correct English) to get the message out. First of all I asked Non-GMO Project to comment on my findings, I asked them to be more transparent on their standards in laymens terms and I was subsequently banned within two minutes. That triggered serious investigation. So I have done a lot of work on this. Yes, I am actually one of the few who read their standards. I also have this European agenda (TTIP... something TTP) in which the nullification of differences in regulations are to be nullified by secret negotiations. If you want to know more, then this message is a good start. The situation is actually worse if you can read through section four: Transition periods, (codex alimentarius style) threshold variances by sector and a very weak sanction system for products which once verified and no longer are correct to be verified may hold twice the GMO amount that was originally verified (the advertised
