GENE BURKHART Making a return appearance on our stage is Gene Burkhart, whose classic country styling has won him acclaim as Male Vocalist of the Year at CROSS TIMBERS OPRY IN Stephenville, TX, and most recently won the Specialty Vocal’s competition at the Bluegrass Festival in Wickenburg, AZ. Gene’s delivery of George Strait ’s version of Deep Water and his rendition of Ray Price’s Texas is Calling Me Home are sure to have you dancin’ in your seat! DAN MCCORISON Former MCA Records recording artist, Dan McCorison, got his first guitar at the age of fourteen, and was hooked on country music. His first band, The Dusters, toured the western states and Canada and opened for Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Flatt and Scruggs and Linda Ronstadt just to name a few. He has played in Japan , Australia and Europe . His latest two critically acclaimed projects were cut in Nashville where Dan lived until his recent move to Arizona . Presenting his own original songs and true country classics, this dynamic picker, singer and songwriter is sure to thrill our audience! BRUSH ARBOR REVIVAL Our resident Gospel & Bluegrass Group returns to our stage this month with more of their great renditions of familiar hymns. As usual, they will surprise and delight you with their special brand of humor and terrific vocal and instrumental skills.
