Dr.MLK EDISON NOW ACCEPTING APPS FOR SCHOLARS PROGRAM Facebook Family: If your have a son/daughter thats a seniors in high school or perhaps you know of a student please tell these young people to go apply for all this free money thats sitting there waiting for them. Edison International, the present company of Southern California Edison (SCE), has begun the application period for its 2014-15 Edison Scholars Program which runs through February 1,2015. The $1.2 million program, which offers 30 scholarships valued at $40,000 each paid over our years, is for Southern California high school seniors with a 2.8 GPA or above who either live in or attend public or private high schools in the SCEs service area and plan to pursue college studies in the science ,technology,engineering and math (STEM) fields. Students from underserved communities and ethnic minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
