THIS IS A WARNING RANT! Some time ago, I agreed to try Rejuvalash, a product my daughter, Christina, thought might help. See, I dont have much in the way of lashes, and whats there are practically colorless. When I went to the website, I noticed no sales links, only their trial offer. Ive been burned by this approach before, but curiosity won out, so I filled in the personal info and sent for the trial. Before I received the package, Rejuvalash sent me two additional emails asking me to confirm my order, but the link took me back to the page to sign up for the trial. I sent them an email when the product became overdue, and it arrived three days later. They never replied to the email. When I received the product, there was no reorder slip or opt-out postcard enclosed. In fact, there was very little documentation at all, and what there was was printed on the box. After a period of purely personal reservation, I began using the product. It doesnt work nearly as quickly as they claim, but I am seeing some improvement. Christina and the Hubs saw the change much earlier than I did, but then, I have poor close vision, and cant see my eyes clearly anymore. (in the mirror, you dork!) I received a second package in the mail less than a month later. Curious, I checked my bank account. Lo and behold, Ive been charged $99.99! Deciding this price is excessive, and not wanting to continue paying a hundred dollars a month for this thing, I emailed the company asking if this was a subscription, complaining about not having reorder control, and asked to be canceled. They replied right away that my account is canceled, and that Ill be removed from their program. I take it to mean Ill never again be able to buy their product, even if I want to, without more of the same. I emailed them twice more asking for return and refund guidance. So far, theyve ignored my requests. So this morning, I expressed my displeasure at their business practices, and warned that all my friends are going to hear about it. They have a good product, Its too bad they want to own control of their clients this way. I strongly feel that if they reduce their price and release it for open sales, theyll strike it rich! These poor fools just lost a customer, and a noisy one at that. Should you try Rejuvalash? Go ahead. But the minute you receive the trial, send the email to cancel. Maybe if enough people do that, theyll rethink their strategy. Who knows?
