THIS IS AMAZING My friend Elbert Lee Guillory knocks this one out of the park! Its what I (& others) have been saying for years. All predominantly black districts in this nation vote exclusively for leftist Democrats & have for 40+ years. Virtually all such districts are characterized by higher than natl average unemployment, drop out, incarceration, foreclosure rates, etc; little or no economic growth, people sleeping with bars on their windows, drug trafficing problems, on & on. Blacks are the only demographic in America that does not force politicians to compete for our votes. As Elbert so well states, They know that no matter what they do, 95% of us are going to line up and vote for them, every single time. We blacks have been duped. Somehow we believe a) the Democrats care about us, b) all Republicans are racists. We somehow think that as Nancy Pelosi, Mary Landrieu, Barack & Michelle, Bill & Hill fly across the country in private jets; move about cities in chauffeured limousines to parties at millionaires estates - that they are concerned about *us*. They are not. And until they begin to fear the possibility of losing some of our votes, they will not. Well continue to see our neighborhoods decline into squalor and our people lag behind unless & until we change. There is no such situation as one in which competition does not benefit the consumer.
