THIS IS DIRECTED AT IGNORANT UOFL FANS COMING FROM A DIE-HARD, RED-BLOODED CARDINAL...shut up about the refs (NEUTRAL COURT!) or ANY other excuse. Half of you cant even name the starting line-up or read a box score correctly..do you not understand that when youre not humble in defeat on your teams behalf..that youre giving the IGNORANT Kentucky fans a green light to bash this great program??? We went 13-23 from the FT line including 4-10 from an 84% FT shooter. THATS NOT CHAMPIONSHIP BALL. We were -7 in the rebounding column and just had a complete meltdown in the last 5 or so minutes. Sure, a couple calls couldve gone our way but if we hit our FTs and crash the boards..it wouldnt have been an issue. Im as salty as they come but this is not the way we should honor the memory of 2 of the GREATEST cardinals to put on the uniform in Russ Smith and Cool-hand Luke. Thank you to the other seniors as well, Henderson and Van Treese, for helping to bring numerous conference titles (think about how dominant the Big East was for a second), a FINAL FOUR banner and a CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE back to this great city. Ill never forget that great run, especially since it happened in my senior year. So keep your head high, show some humility, and ignore the ignorance from BOTH fan bases. #CARDNATION
