THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT! We know xegolates are nouns with this pattern XeXeX. Xegolates are nouns generally with two e vowels. But the word salt is a xegolate. How? Why does salt or MeLaC have an a? I will post the answer in the comments. All you need to do is remember the word salt in Hebrew. If you can do that, you will have unlocked a very important Hebraic concept in your brain. This used to be a topic that would confuse beginners. But today we have a lot of resources and color coding and I believe we can just learn it and move on. The reason you need to be comfortable with xegolates is that they form their plurals differently. So if you understand what they are, you can handle them easily.
