THIS IS WHAT OUR SIN LOOKS LIKE. CHRIST SHOWED US THE TRUTH OF IT WITH HIS WOUNDS. DO WE ENJOY WATCHING IT? OR DOES IT GRIEVE OUR HEART? Notice, believers were filled with sadness and grief-they couldnt watch the Lamb bleed, as we should feel the same toward sin. However, unbelievers felt nothing. Yet Isaiah 53:3 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Let us remember the price of our sins and the cost of our transgression and more importantly, the One who paid for our sins for those who believe, that we might be brought back to the Father, because He loved us first. At the same time, let the Holy Spirit be true toward us if He says “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?
