THIS IS WHERE THE JOURNEY STARTED:: #TheCapitalOne #CapitalOneFinalist #TeamKabue I have been to other radio auditions before, so when I heard about capital one..I wasnt overly enthusiastic about it. Matter of fact, I almost talked myself out of doing the demo. But it so happened that I got some VO work to do and thats when the idea of doing the demo hit me. (Talk of being relentless) I was like After Im done doing the VO work Ill ask the sound engineer (Patrick Kabugi of APT Audio Solutions in Westlands) to use his studio to record the short script I had prepared. I titled it the Did you know facts about radio I later on took the audio file and used final cut pro to edit. This is where I added all the audio effects, photos and background music. Next step was to submit it to Capital FM Kenyas website...and after a while...got an email to be notified that out of the 2000 submissions they got...mine had made the cut to the top 200. Did my thing...then waited to see if I would make the cut to the top 20 finalists. I did. (I was so happy like you cant believe!!)
