THIS IS WHY JESUS anointed SEVENTY more. Everybody, CHRISTIAN say they want to FOLLOW JESUS, but TRUE GOOD DISCIPLES are hard to find. St. Luke 9:57-59 THREE verses will say a lot, BECAUSE JESUS breaks bread, blesses it, and MULTIPLIES it. IF YOU, ME, WE, really TOOK time TO think and MEDITATE over scripture we read, WOW.....it comes ALIVE..........57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. ................NOW READ....think about what was just said, and HOW it applies to OUR REAL LIVES.............man has heard so much about JESUS, and sees JESUS doing miracles, and QUICKLY WITH ZEAL, wants to follow HIM. Jesus SENSES knows THIS MAN wants the FAME, GLAMOUR, GLITZ.......HE really dont want to be a DISCIPLE and build THIS KINGDOM. Like PEOPLE marry PEOPLE talking bout, LYING.....I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. First thing they ask is DO YOU HAVE A JOB, and a HOUSE. LOL! As IF GOD wont in HIS time give HIS PEOPLE a job and house. I PERSONALLY dont care if a woman I got with got a job or house. I CARE about if she KNOWS GOD. Then as we seek HIS KINGDOM, im praying for her, INFLUENCING HER, shell get a job, WELL get a house. MANY people with JOBS and HOUSES, get divorced......ITS NOT THE MAIN PRIORITY like this WORLD. So JESUS tells him, MAN I DONT EVEN have a place to lay my head. NOW DO you STILL WANT TO FOLLOW me in FAITH, AND SACRIFICE, or did you just want to quit your job, and GO with me, and think ITS ALL ICE CREAM, CAKE AND PIE...............ITS IS...BUT THERES A LOT more to it, then YOU EXCITEDLY wanting to follow me. The man probably turned away. SO JESUS looks and says to another, FOLLOW ME. In other words DO YOU REALLY WANT ME AND THIS KINGDOM...or not.
