THIS ONE GOES TO MEN WHO TREAT THEIR WOMEN SILENTLY!!: Some husbands use the silent treatment to get at their wives. In this method, when a husband is not happy with some situation in the house, he just decides to go mute for some days. He stops talking to his wife and just does his own things. This form of communication is adopted when a partner wants his or her weight to be felt. The aggrieved one is silently saying you cant do without me: your world is incomplete without me and just to prove how true this is, I will not talk to you This is a very negative but powerful way to bargain because silence is not an attractive form of communication! I know a man who found himself in an awkward situation of silence with his wife. He had felt wounded by his wife and wanted to assert his authority by adopting a mute stance with his wife for some days. For some days, the man kept his distance and tried not to talk to his wife. They ate and slept together in silence. One day he felt a strong urge to talk to his wife because of an important job appointment he had to meet the following morning. Being a man however, pride moved in and blocked his resolve. He felt that if he were the first to break the silence, it would demean his position as a man. He therefore resorted to writing. He wrote a note to his wife that said Please wake me up at 06:00am He put the note on the wifes pillow to make sure she sees it. In the morning, his wife who was up by 06:00am wrote a note back to him that read wake up, its 06:00am and quietly put it on his pillow. Needless to say that when the man woke up hours later, way past six 0clock- he was angry that his wife dint wake him up at the time he had requested. Just when he wanted to break the silence with a verbal punch on his wife, he saw a note lying next to his pillow, on it were words wake up its 06:00am. Its true that sometimes silence is golden.but We must learn the best way to ressolve issues in a HOT climate. Neva go to bed with a heavy heart.find a beta way to sort thinz out with ur spouse.
