Christine Milne has just come out in WA in support of turning our public housing over to the church and NGOs. So there you go....what ignorance and carelessness for our public housing. Privatisation always ends in tears. THIS IS NOT ABOUT SELLING PUBLIC HOUSING BUT GIFTING IT TO THE CHURCH AND THEN GIVING FEDERAL RENT RELIEF TO THEM ALONG WITH FUNDING, TAX BREAKS AND SERVICES. THAT MONEY, FUNDING AND ASSISTANCE SHOULD ALL BE GOING TO THE STATES TO SUPPORT AND DEVELOP PUBLIC HOUSING, NOT TO THE CHURCH TO GO INTO REAL ESTATE BUSINESS FOR PROFIT. Copied and posted by EA
