RSVP (203) 261-0047 Over the past couple of years, Laura has been asked many times about creating a study group which would offer an opportunity to learn about magick and the metaphysical realm . So after much thought, we have created a format that will flow sort of like a talk show with full audience participation. Current events, a main topic, a demonstration of some sort and ending with question and answer time will create a well-rounded evening (we hope!). We are calling this “Talisman After Dark” because darker (meaning non-child friendly) topics that we don’t normally discuss upstairs during working hours may be discussed or explored. Session One: Laurie Cabot of Salem, MA has famously said, “Witchcraft is a religion, an art, a path and a science”. We are going to carefully look at this, as we get a lot of overwhelmed or misinformed people who come into the shop and are curious but don’t know where to start. There is confusion about witchcraft – some people are happy with their religion but are curious about magick and the various ways it can be incorporated. It is also a fact that you can follow a pagan path without ever practicing magick! We will also demonstrate ways to bless or consecrate ritual tools under a full moon. We will end with a Q & A session, so bring your questions!
