THIS!! This is what I keep trying to tell people who try to get me to quit voting, who tell me there is no point, who say break the government down and just be people. Yeah right! what delusions are you living under? how did the wild west work? the slave times? How was it for women when it was just the people? Ask what the Indians thought? Without government, even as screwed up as it can be, we are far better off. There are laws trying to help those that do not hold power, that do not have money. Rules that govern behavior. It is not perfect, it is not where I want it, where I think it should be, but it is FAR better off then the Lord of the Flies that would happen if we just let anarchy take place.
