THIS WEEK ANTI-SEMITIC EU EXPORT RESTRICTIONS AGAINST ISRAELI DAIRY AND POULTRY COMPANIES IN EAST JERUSALEM, JUDEA AND SAMARIA, GO INTO EFFECT. I do not want to hear how the effect will be minimal to none on the Israeli economy. Any attempt to whitewash this EU decision is wrong. Note that the EU, which claims it does this because the areas are in dispute as to ownership -- does not apply the same standard to Cyprus, Kosovo, or any other area of the world where there is a dispute over sovereignty of territory. ONLY JEWS ARE SINGLED OUT FOR DISCRIMINATION. There is no interest in the EU that these games will create more Arab unemployment. They dont care. How should Israel respond ? (1) Seek alternate markets. (2) Start banning products from various discriminating EU states and find other clients in other regions to replace them. (3) Set a goal to significantly reduce Israeli trade with the EU in general. (4) Those EU officials who advocated and worked for such regulations should be banned permanently from israel.
