THIS WEEKEND IN ROCKPORT!! SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6th Christmas Bazaar First Congregational Church, 12 School Street, 8 am-2 pm. Featuring a wide range of Christmas decorations and ornaments, including fresh hand-crafted wreathes, greenery arrangements, baked items, and unique gifts. Advent Fair St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 24 Broadway, 9 am-1 pm. Holiday gift items, Salvadoran crafts, African jewelry, delicious soup luncheon and the best decorated Holiday Greens on Cape Ann! 10th Annual Holiday Crafts Fair Unitarian Universalist Society, 4 Cleaves Street, 9 am-2 pm. Featuring craft items, home baked goodies, an “almost new” holiday decorations and ornaments. Holiday Fair The Unitarian Universalist Society of Rockport Holiday Fair will be help on Friday, December 5 from 4 till 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the church, 4 Cleaves Street, Rockport. Offerings will include furniture, books, vintage jewelry and watches, the works of local artists, holiday crafts, themed gift baskets, vintage decorations, a bake sale, and complimentary cider. There will also be a raffle for a 40-inch flat-screen TV. The drawing will be on Saturday afternoon and winners need not be present to claim the set. Candy-Making Demonstrations Tuck’s Candy Factory, 9:30 am-4:30 pm. See November 29 listing for details. Santa’s Arrival by Lobster Boat T Wharf. 3:45 pm, followed by Santa parade to Dock Square. Tree Lighting Ceremony Dock Square, 4 pm. Carol singing around the tree with the Dock Square carolers. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7th Boy Scout Troop 20’s Christmas Tree Sale Scout Hall, 47 Mt. Pleasant Street, 1-5 pm Saturdays 9 am-5 pm and Sundays 1-5 pm through December while supplies last. $25,$35,$45 Open House at the Sewall-Scripture House Sandy Bay Historical Society, 40 King Street, 3-5 pm. Carol singing to an old-fashioned pump organ and an electric train for the children. “Seashells and Jingle Bells” Inn & Home Kitchen Tour Rockport Inn and Suites, 183 Main Street, is the place to buy tickets, 1-5 pm. $20 in advance, $25 on day of tour. Come experience holiday cheer, goodies, and hospitality. Demonstrations and fun events at several locations along with wonderful winter scenes. Organized by Rockport High School’s DECA program, the Inns of Rockport, and Rockport PTO.
